An Edmonton Boudoir Photography Studio
My name is Stephanie Tostowaryk. Welcome to my boutique boudoir photography studio located in Edmonton, Alberta. I have over ten years of professional photography experience helping all types of people feel empowered and beautiful.
I provide a unique, hand-crafted, and specialized boudoir photography experience that is unlike any other in Edmonton. Each of my available photography sessions includes an initial phone consultation, professional hair and makeup services, and a selection of gorgeous apparel items to wear during the shoot.
Unlike other studios, where you have to wait weeks to see your final photos, I offer same-day reveal sessions following your session. This means you get to see your amazing photos while the excitement and energy of the day are still fresh. Then, we work together to choose a selection of products that you love so you can showcase your images proudly.
What Does Body Positivity Mean?
The term body positivity has been co-opted by influential brands and influencers in recent years, all of whom preach radical self-acceptance in the form of products you can purchase to help you feel good about yourself. But body positivity is not about a number on a scale, a hashtag, or a product. Body positivity about self-acceptance and expressing gratitude for the body you have right now.
Body positivity is a journey full of ups and downs and is never linear. Some days we feel immense gratitude for the bodies we have been given, and other days, we feel disappointed with them. To be fully accepting of yourself is to understand that body positivity is a process that takes time. Be kind with yourself and have patience as you take daily steps towards self-acceptance - even if you take a few steps back other days.
Creating a Safe Space
Every person that walks through my studio is beautifully unique. While some of my models have larger-than-life personalities and are excited to offer ideas for their own photoshoots, others can be more withdrawn, preferring to be guided through the process. Every personality is welcomed in my studio and everyone is free to be authentically themselves throughout the process.
My studio is open to all body types, genders, consenting adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ Community. I also offer a variety of payment plans and options so my photography is available to everyone. I have learned when you create an inclusive space for people to be themselves, this is when their magic truly comes to life. My goal is to help you see yourself like you never have before, so you can translate that confidence into your daily life.

Every person has a unique personality and body type. This includes their comfort levels in front of a camera and how much they feel safe to show. This is why I like to make sure each individual I work with gets extra special treatment that caters to their specific needs.
